L’Antica Cisterna is a tastefully restored traditional Tuscan farmhouse tucked away in the rolling Chianti hills overlooking the Elsa valley and San Gimignano.

The villa sleeps a group of up to 9 people in four bedrooms and features spacious living areas. All the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and there is a separate WC on the ground floor. A utility room houses the washing machine.

The house’s spacious bedrooms and varied common areas, both indoors and outdoors, make it ideal for groups of up to nine people. Indeed, we often host two families or three generations of the same family. We welcome children and babies, and can provide a cot and high chair on request. There is a child safety gate on the staircase. Outdoors, gates protect access to the road and to the steps down to the swimming pool.

The large farm house is divided into two completely separate parts, one for guests and one for us owners, each with its own entrance and outdoor space. We do our best to respect your privacy but are generally available if needed. We are British, are fluent in Italian and are at your disposal for advice and assistance with your stay in Tuscany, e.g. reservations, tourist recommendations and activities.
